Here are some of the wonderful things our guests have said….
Dear Esther,
How wonderful it was to meet you and be a guest at your wonderful place. How can I tell how spiritual and enriching it was to ride on a horse through your magical forest, to go into the woods and smell the delightful moss, to come back to your “Antonio’s house” where everyone is welcome and where I felt so contained and safe and accepted… and ate the most delicious food… yummie!!!! When you have been to visit to all you really come back with a feeling that all is good! Thank you again – Retha, Johannesburg, South Africa
Dear Slieve Aughty Riding Center,
Here is Margot from Italy. I’m so sorry, but I couldn’t come this year to Ireland and I’m so sad…I couldn’t forget my only week in your “heaven for horses and riders” or the treks in the forests, mountains and all the marvellous places where I’ve been. I hope you’re well, you and the horses who were both gentle, funny and unforgettable. How is Dalin going? Is he OK? I have a photo of him near my bed , and I look to him every night. In those days, I fell out my horse and I had a bruise on the arm because the horse jumped me, but I’m OK. I’m so sad for Ruby’s death, she was a fantastic horse. All the best to Tracie, Jeremy, Jerry, Esther, Quentin and the others who helped me in this adventure. Hope to see you soon – Your friend, Margot, Italy
Dear Esther,I am back in Dublin now and am sending this email to thank you for four great days of riding in Slieve Aughty Equestrian Centre. Both Pearl and Cookie were great. It was a privilege to ride with a bitless bridle, it made the jumping easier as well as I wasn’t as afraid of pulling too much on Pearl’s mouth. Thank you for giving me back my jumping confidence. Cartron House was excellent. The food there and at Slieve Aughty was excellent. The picnics were fantastic and Gerry kept us all entertained in the saddle and out.I met some fantastic people and hope they had as nice as time as I had – Regards, Muriel, Dublin, Ireland
The people are all very gentle. The English lessons are not boring. Here it’s very good. For me I can stay a long time. With this I can speak English better than before and my equestrian level is better -Marina Gladieux, Guadaloupe
Perfect! Good horses, delicious food, nice people, sympatik staff – Victoria, Germany
The horses are very good in all of the things and [the] staff are very different and nice. People come from a lot of countries so we can speak English – Raphaele, France
Friends who ride with us in Ballinasloe recommended here (Slieve Aughty Centre) to us. Very enjoyable – food after yummy. I would like to come back for a weekend and more! Myself and my husband did the trail ride together and we enjoyed it a lot. Thank you -Sinead, Co. Galway, Ireland
