IOFGA (Irish Organic Farmers and Growers Association) is Ireland’s leading organic certification body dedicated to certifying organic produce and products throughout Ireland. Our Organic Kitchen is certified by IOFGA

Ecotourism Ireland is an organisation set up to stimulate the development of ecotourism countrywide. To achieve these ends we have facilitated the development of an ecotourism quality label that we hope will stimulate the development of new ecotourism experiences in Ireland and at the same time defend the ethical values of existing ecotourism operators”. We are a member of Eco Tourism Ireland and we are honoured to be included in the list of Silver Award Members.

The Centre for Environmental Living and Education is based in county Clare and has recently entered partnership with us. A registered charity, CELT promotes sustainable living, nature conservation and traditional skills. CELT currently hold two Weekend in the Hills events with us per year. We have lots of exciting projects in the pipelines and we look forward to sharing them with you as they happen.

The Organic Centre is in Leitrim. They promote organic horticulture, gardening & sustainable living through training, demonstration and community projects.

Rock Farm Slane is another of our Eco Tourism Ireland Friends. Only 45 minutes away from Dublin, the organic farm offers a place to rest, relax and be adventurous! Stay in the gorgeous Yurts and Shepard Huts. While there, you can ride electric bikes, go hiking and kayaking, take part in eco building workshops and so much more. It’s also a great spot for hens, stags and weddings.

Cnoc Suain is situated just 25 minutes from Galway city. Located in an Irish speaking region of Connemara, step back in time as you enter the pre-famine hill village of thatched and slated stone cottages dating back to 1691. Cnoc Suain, like ourselves, are rated a 4 star accommodation with Failte Ireland and are also an Eco Tourism Ireland member. Adults only, please.

Acton’s Eco Beach Campsite and Caravan Park is real camping with a difference! The park offers visitors a sustainable, cluster free, natura camping experience on eight hectares of coastal Machair habitat bio-diversity, with unparalleled panoramic Atlantic seascape views. The coastal Park, with its sheltered, safe, ‘secluded private beach’ is in easy walking distance to the stunning tidal Island of Omey. Acton’s is also a member of Eco Tourism Ireland.

Health and Harmony, based in a purpose built cabin at Denise Christie’s home, just a few kilometres from us, offers many options including massage, beauty and a day spa. Denise has more than 15 years experience in helping her clients relax and unwind and we are delighted to recommend her to our guests, with many of them visiting her during a stay with us. Watch out for special offers for weekend breaks and spa visits!

Woodville Walled Garden is a restored kitchen garden steeped in history. Visit the garden and museum to learn about it’s connection to Lady Augusta Gregory or simply visit to see and smell the wonderful array of flowers and plants. The garden is also home to a flock of Doves and the Bluebell Woods. We highly recommend a visit to the gardens, any time of year!

Absolutely Organic is Irish owned and based in Dublin. They have been supporting Irish organics and serving their wonderful customers since 1997. Order from their fabulous range of quality products with plenty of Local, Seasonal, Healthy food to choose from.

Decoding Your Body workshops and private sessions are given by Jenny Deane and Anne McCormack. Keep watch for the next time they hold a workshop at Slieve Aughty Centre!

Crann Og, a beautiful eco farm close to Gort, Co. Galway where sustainable living and alternative energy sources are the key ingredients! A wonderful, certified SilverEcotourism experience, well worth a visit!

Brooklodge was the first restaurant in Ireland to become certified organic. To date, they join us in being the only two restaurants in Ireland with official Organic certification. Brooklodge boasts beautiful grounds, the Strawberry Tree restaurant, accommodation and much more. We recommend them if searching for an organic destination in Co. Wicklow.

The Organic Supermarket opened its first shop in Blackrock, county Dublin back in 2008. Thanks to a growing demand for fresh, local, organic produce, they opened another two locations in Dublin. They hope to expand further and we’ re patiently waiting for them to arrive in the west of the country!
