Grow it, Find it, Eat it!

Our chefs and foraging experts will bring you to the organic garden and the forests and fields around the centre to harvest organic fruit and veg, herbs and wild plants.  These will be the ingredients for the next phase, which is to cook what you have gathered.  Depending on the month, we will be making wild garlic pesto, nettle & organic vegetable soup, dried herbs and teas, jams, flavourful colourful and nutritious salads, syrups and juices, sautéed mushrooms and more. Try out your creations at a family style, buffet lunch and get inspired to see what you can cook from nature.

For April, make some wild garlic pasta pesto and primrose ice cream!

Suitable for coeliacs and vegetarians.

Dress for the outdoors, including rain/sun gear and sturdy footwear.  Please bring a change of shoes and and apron (if you have one) for the kitchen.
